The ultimate winter escape in Untertauern, the Obertauern ski resort has over 100 km of prepared pistes running the gauntlet from nursery slopes to black slopes. Spend the day carving through fresh powder, then return to the Lürzerhof for a warming sauna, wellness treatment and a gourmet dinner.
Other invigorating winter sports are on offer as well. Tobogganing lets you get up close and personal with the snow, as you zoom down the hills, or simply take a snow-shoed hike or cross-country ski trip through the winter wonderland. Return to a roaring fire and a glass of Glühwein, looking out over the mountains at dusk.
